Steamed Cauliflower & French Beans - oil-free, dairy-free!

Try making this simple vegetable dish without any oil or dairy!
Vegetables are a store-house of vitamins and minerals. However, cooking them at high temperatures not only kills the nutrition it also destroys the digestive enzymes naturally present in the veggies. Steaming veggies is a better way of preparing veggies and helps retain more nutrition as well.
Ingredients
- French Beans – 100 gms
- Cauliflower – 200 gms
- Garlic – 2 tsp (crushed)
- Black pepper – A pinch
- Coriander twigs – 5-6 (finely chopped)
- Green chillies – 1-2 (finely chopped)
- Lemon juice – as per taste
- Rock salt - as per taste
Method
- Cut the cauliflower into small florets, and french beans into small pieces.
- Now steam these veggies for 5-10 minutes only so as to retain some crunch.
- In a bowl, take crushed garlic, finely chopped coriander, green chillies, black pepper, saltand lemon juice.
- Now add the steamed cauliflower and french beans to the bowl and mix well.
- The dish is ready to serve!
