You will never miss the oily unhealthy sambhar wadi made of maida and other un-natural ingredients.

Just try this recipe and you will not regret!

Ingredients

  • White til (sesame seeds): 1 cup
  • Peanuts - 1 cup
  • Coriander - 1 bowl
  • Sendha namak or rock salt – to taste
  • Green Chilli - 1
  • Beetroot - 1
  • Wholegrain wheat flour - 1 cup

Veggies:

  • Cucumber- 1
  • Tomatoes-2
  • Grated coconut- as per requirement

Method

  • Roast the peanut and sesame seed in pan for 2 to 3 min.
  • Blend them together for 20 sec in mixer and put it in side.
  • Take pan cut the coriander finely and add it to the pan roast it for 3 min.
  • After that add peanut and seseme seed mixture to pan in coriander and add chilli finely chopped with some rock salt as per your taste mix well.
  • Knead soft dough of wheat flour and grated beetroot
  • Make 2 small chapatis of the dough
  • Fill the chapatis with stuffing and make shape of Wadi (as shown in the video)
  • Put the wadi on strainer and steam for 5 to 7 min.
  • Remove and serve with cucumber, tomato, grated coconut
