This is a very refreshing and healthy chutney. Punarnava leaves are well known for their hepatic benefits and along with mint it adds a very good flavor to the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Punarnava leaves(1 cup)
  • Mint
  • Sliced Tomatoes (2)
  • Onion (1-2 optional)
  • Lemon juice (2 teaspoonful)
  • Rock salt ( according to requirement)
  • Black pepper
  • Jaggery

Method

  • Take property washed punarnava and mint and place in the grinder.
  • Add tomatoes or onions (sliced), followed by lemon juice, rock salt, pepper and jaggery.
  • You can add some water according to the required consistency.
  • Grind the ingredients for 2-3 minutes and delicious chutney is ready.
