Sabja seeds or sweet basil seeds have a nice crunchy texture. Sabja seeds are rich in antioxidants and have a cooling effect on the body. Try this sabja lemonade cooler for your kids when they are back from school or play. Have this concoction especially if you have indigestion or loose motions - soothes us internally.


Ingredients

  • Lemon: 2 (Juiced)
  • Sabja seeds: ½ tsp
  • Jaggery powder: 1 tsp or to taste
  • Ginger: thumb size
  • Mint leaves: 8
  • Water: 2 glasses
  • Ice cubes: 1 or 2

Method

  • Soak sabja seeds with little water for 15 min.
  • Juice the lemons.
  • Grate or crush the ginger & mint. Crush in a pestle; or grate it with a grater. You can also dry churn in the small jar mixie (without water).
  • Add all ingredients into water with jaggery powder.
  • Mix well.
  • strain it (Optional).
  • Serve it with ice cubes and ½ tsp of the fluffy sabja seeds.

Delicious refreshing sugar free lemonade is ready. Store in fridge.
