Jamrul/ Java apple/ Jaam/ Java rose apple commonly available in most places in India. Tastes great to eat as it is. I have a tree in my garden and my neighbors too shared their harvest. Juicing it was the best way to use it all up.
Ingredients
- Jamrul/Java apple: 2 cups
- Dates: 6-8
- Black salt: ½ tsp
- Ginger: 1-1 inch
Method
- Wash and clean the java apples to remove any fiber and seeds.
- Remove seeds from dates.
- Blend all ingredients together and strain and enjoy.

- Decide the number of dates depending on the sweetness of the java apple, which sometimes tend to be very sour.
