Homemade Natural Deodorant- DIY Cosmetic Recipe

Our skin is the largest organ of elimination in our bodies. Sweating is a way for the body to throw out toxins and cool the body too. Deodorants act by blocking the pores of the skin and prevent sweating.
Commercially available deodorants contain many harmful chemicals least of all which is aluminium. These cause toxicity and hormonal issues.
It is better instead to wear a sleeveless top in case you are worried about sweat. However, if you are still in need of a deodorant on occasion, here is an easy DIY deo recipe which can be made from easily
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp arrowroot or cornflour powder
- 3 tbsp baking soda
- 6 tbsp cold pressed coconut oil
- 10 drops of good quality fragrant essential oil of your choice (Example: Lavender, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass etc.)
Method
- Mix all the ingredient well till it becomes a homogenous mixture.
- Transfer to a clean and dry glass jar.
- Store in the fridge.
To use– take a little quantity in a spoon and with your fingers rub it on your armpits. That’s it!
