It is a very good alternative for regular tea, if one is looking for alternatives to help give it up.

Ingredients

  • Red hibiscus flowers - 5

  • Fresh or dried lemon grass - 1 blade

  • Tulsi leaves - 10

  • Pudina leaves - 10

  • Ginger - 1/4 inch

  • A slice of lemon for garnishing

  • Water - 1 cup


Method

  • Boil the water in a vessel. Add all the herbs and let it boil for a couple of minutes. Remove from fire. Keep the vessel covered and let the flavours get stronger. Filter it and add the slice of lemon and enjoy it. If you like it sweetened you may add jaggery syrup, honey or agave nectar.
