Pizza is termed as 'junk food'. But this one isn't junk - Quick and Healthy besan and flax pizza tawa roasted. It is gluten free, dairy free and also free from any artificial additives. My girls love it & I'm sure your kids will love it too. Try soon, it's quite simple.

Have this kebab raw or grilled with Imli chutney or hari chutney. Makes a great party snack. You can add your choice of veggies, whatever is available in fridge. Ideally a winter snack, made with lots of palak you can simply do it with other veggies. This version does not have potatoes, add them if you feel the need.

Ingredients

  • Capsicum: 1 chopped
  • Carrot: 1 grated
  • Potatoes: 2 (steamed or boiled & mashed)
  • Red cabbage: 1 cup shredded (optional)
  • Paste of methi , Palak (spinach), mint or coriander
  • Dhaniya (coriander) powder: ½ tsp or to taste
  • Raw mango powder: ½ tsp or to taste
  • Sindhav salt (rock salt): ½ tsp or to taste
  • Peanut: ½ cup (or to taste) coarsely grinded
  • White til powder: 1 tbsp

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients and give desired shape. Keep some ground peanuts aside, for rolling the tikkis.
  • Roll the kabab in peanut and white til powder.

Cooking: Optional
Many people enjoy the tikkis raw.
You take some cold-pressed oil, and warm the tikki in tawa to give a crisper outing.
Can also grill in the oven for 20 minutes for a golden layer.

Eating Guide:

  • Food group: Vegetables (Raw)
  • Veggies are loaded with enzymes and high water content.
  • They aid in digestion and act as a daily dose of vitamins and minerals.
  • Consuming vegetables raw, ensures our bodies do not work extra hard to digest the cooked foods. That translates into a happy liver.
