Dark chocolate truffle, an all-time favourite of most kids. But are you worried about your child's health and hence refrain from it? Here's an easy recipe by which you could make your child's favourite at home, using healthier ingredients. Happy moms, happy kids!


Ingredients

  1. Almond flour / ground almonds - 1 cup powder 
  2. Hazelnuts - 1/2 cup powder 
  3. Kimia Dates - 10 
  4. Unprocessed Cacao powder - 3 tbsp 
  5. Cacao butter - 2 - 3 tbsp
  6. Cacao nibs - 3 tbsp 
  7. Cacao sieved (for rolling) 

Method

  1. Mix the ground almond, hazelnuts, cacao powder and using a food processor slowly add the deseeded dates and cacao butter. Cacao butter has to be kept on a hot vessel for sometime to melt in that heat.
  2. Now slowly add the nibs and switch off the food processor.
  3. Make balls and roll that over cacao powder and enjoy.
  4. These can be pressed in a square shaped pan and frozen to enjoy like a hard chocolate
