Fragrant Brown Rice

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole brown basmati rice, washed and soaked in 4 cups of water for 2 hours
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp (about 20 threads) saffron
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander for garnishing
- dried herb for garnishing (optional)
- sea salt to taste
Method
- Drain the water from soaked rice.
- In a pan mix saffron strings and sea salt in 2 cups of water.
- Add soaked rice to the pan and cover the pan.
- Cook rice on medium heat till the rice is fluffy. You may have to add extra water till all the rice is cooked.
- Garnish with fresh green coriander leaves and some dried herbs.
