Foxtail Millet Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup foxtail millet
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4th cup white sesame
  • 1/4th cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 th cup flaxseed powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp jaggery syrup
  • 1/4th cup cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp Psyllium husk powder

Method

  1. Wash the millet well and soak overnight.
  2. Next day, add sesame, sunflower seeds, flaxseed powder, chia seeds, salt, jaggery syrup, salt, cold-pressed coconut oil and psyllium husk powder in the soaked millet. Do not discard the water used for soaking.
  3. Mix the batter well.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C with both rods for 60 minutes.
