Rich in iron, useful for nursing mother’s and children. It has anti-inflammatory properties and can be consumed with idli,dosa,rice or can also be mixed in pulka dough.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized cups - Drumstick leaves
  • 1/2 cup - Curry leaves
  • 3 tablespoons- Bengal gram (Chana dal)
  • 3 tablespoons-Black gram(urad dal)
  • 3 tablespoons-Ground nut
  • Red chillies-7
  • Rock Salt - as per taste
  • Asafoetida - 1 pinch

Method

  • Wash cleanly and dry the drumstick leaves and curry leaves separately.

  • without oil make a shallow roast of drumstick leaves and curry leaves separately.

  • Now roast bengal gram,black gram and ground nut and chillies separately.

  • Now grind all the roasted ingredients with salt and pinch of asafoetida.

     

  • Can be stored in airtight glass container for 15 days.
