Banana Chikoo Smoothie - all-natural energizer!

This power packed energy drink made from bananas, dates and chikoo is a great treat for any time of the day - be it and energetic start of the day, after school snack or a post-play drink. Chikoo adds a distinct texture to the drink. Works as great post-workout drink for adults too. Relish chilled!
Ingredients
- Chikoo (mudapples): 3-4 peeled, deseeded and chopped
- Dates: 1-2 (optional, if you prefer sweet)
- Banana: 2
- Water: ¼ glass (minimal)
- Nutmeg: ½ tsp (or any spice of choice)
- Basil leaves: only for garnish (Optional)
Method
- Chop chikoo and bananas & add to blender.
- Blend, add little water for getting the desired consistency.
- Sprinkle cinnamon/nutmeg on top & garnish with Basil leaves.

Eating Guide:
- Food group: Fruits.
- Best time to eat: mornings as breakfast or first meal. Can be eaten as evening snacks
- Great way to up fruits for kids
- Remember to eat alone and not mixed with meals
