Banana Apple Smoothie

Glass Full of goodness of bananas! Yes, this banana smoothie is a yummy alternative to eating bananas. Fully ripe, sweet bananas would surely make it an all time favourite in your household. This makes for a yummy breakfast meal or snack for young toddlers. Also great to be used as weaning foods
So, twirl the bananas to go bananas!!
Ingredients

Apple – 1 – peeled and chopped

Dates - 2-3 (You can soak overnight too, and use the water)

Banana - 2

Water – minimal

Cinnamon – 1/2 tsp

Basil leaves – only for garnish (Optional)
Method

Soak the dates in warm water for an hour or so, such that they become soft. Put them in a blender.

De-seed the apple & add it to the blender. Chop bananas and add to blender
-
Blend, add little water for getting the desired consistency. Sprinkle cinnamon on top & Garnish with Basil leaves
Pour in a nice glass & enjoy!

- Best time to eat: mornings as breakfast or first meal. Can be eaten as evening snacks.
- Great way to up fruits for kids.
- Remember to eat alone and not mixed with meals
