Apple Strawberry Juice - with natural sweetness & nutrition

This recipe could be a healthy alternative to offer when your kids ask for a light evening snack or satisfy their small hunger pangs while studying till late at night! A worthwhile replacement of packaged juices, that are loaded with sugar and other additives.
Strawberries are in season only for a brief duration, make sure to use only freshly available strawberries to make the best of this amazingly healthy and delicious drink!
Ingredients
- Apples: 2 medium sized (peeled and chopped)
- Fresh strawberries: 4-5 (finely cut and the top green portion removed)
- Honey or date syrup for taste (optional)
- Water as per desired consistency
Method
- Blend the cut apple and strawberry pieces together well in a blender.
- Add ¼ to ½ cup of water as per desired consistency and give it a blend one more time.
- Mix 1-2 tsp of honey or date syrup for sweetness if needed (optional).
Tasty apple-strawberry juice is ready to be served.
Eating Guide:
- Food group: Fruits.
- Best time to eat: mornings as breakfast or first meal. Can be eaten as an evening snack.
- Great way to up fruits for kids, offer them after school or play.
- Remember to eat alone and not mixed with meals.
